-Deery having antlers despite female Deer not having antlers.
-The Boar Faunus driving the train in No Brakes having his tusks come out of his cheeks instead of his mouth.
Granted, you said "general shape and design", but I'd argue that that ranks below genetic improbabilities in terms of ridiculousness.
Then there's no reason to give a shit about the shape of the traits either, especially when having them in the style Adam's are would make it probably much easier to animate.

We went over this, an IRL exception to that general rule exists, so it's not an example of Impossibilities.

If you're talking about Reindeer, the antlers aren't in the same shape, but as we've covered, RT doesn't care about that.
The thing is, CABRALFAN, in every other case, its obvious what kind of Faunus they are supposed to be, even if they take some liberties about the traits.
We assume that Adam is a bull because of his last name and the designs of his mask, but his horns really look nothing like a bull's.
As I recall some people thought the horns might be feathers and that he was some kind of bird Faunus. That was before they revealed his last name. Of course, again the manga shows actual clear horns in its depiction of Adam so there is an open question about whether that is more representative of what his canon appearance should be or if they were taking liberties. It does actually make sense for him to be a bull Faunus since the Beast in Beauty and the Beast was depicted with Buffalo horns in the Disney film, which is where RT gets some of their ideas about the fairy tale references.

Well, I mean, one of the "Belle-related items" that Miles mentioned was a candelabra, which I think the only version of the story that specifically mentions a talking candelabra is the Disney movie.
Pretty sure her being into books was also Disney's artistic license and is another thing they use to reference Belle.
