Due to a scheduling snafu, this thread is coming 4 hours late, and I'm doing it instead. No time to talk with rabble, here's the news:
- Blake and Sun go around Menagerie trying to get their petition to save the only source of Huntsmen, which goes as well as the average petition would.
- Dejected and getting funny looks from the mermaid quarter of town, Blake and Sun get coconut with lime and talk about how certain people embody certain words. Blake describes Adam in probably the most apt and hilarious word possible: Spite . Damn, didn't know this episode would be dropping truth bombs.
- Oscar is training in what could only be the mudroom of what is beginning to look like a very large house when Ruby comes in announcing dinner is almost ready. Ruby accidentally reveals the name of the new boardgame coming out and gets sad, whereupon Oscar (who has been pretty fine with sharing brain space with mind 5000x larger than his) finally snaps at how well Ruby seems to be taking things, and considering he hasn't even been fighting yet, that must say a lot about how hard it must be (or not, I'm just a viewer with an opinion, to borrow a phrase).
- Ruby explains that she is still in this fight because Pyrrha and Penny died, each without any involvement against Salem (Penny especially, who was killed to provide Cinder a dramatic entrance when all she needed was to destroy a football stadium ), and resolves to not let that happen to anyone else, just wanting to keep moving forward like Penny and Pyrrha would have.
- Oscar thinks about what Ruby said, talking about it with Ozpin, who says she has her own quirks, just like everybody else.
- Corsac and Fennec (can't tell which anymore) are talking about Adam's rise to power and summon Ilia to them. They congratulate her for her heckling skills and tell her about Sienna's assassination, which she grudgingly accepts. They then tell her the Belladonna family have to be shut up, which Ilia is a bit unnerved by, but accepts, as well as assured Blake will be taken alive (reassuring...).
- They then call up Adam, who was in the middle of ranting about how poopy the Belladonnas were before remembering he's the leader now and gives them fancy orders and such before going back to listening to Linkin Park. The two wonder if he's alright...
- A (oh lord) winged Faunus enters next after waiting 30 mins for the three to be done to give his report. He sent Ghira's messenger on an all expenses paid vacation to tropical Vacuo in exchange for not telling anyone about how he tied cinder blocks to his feet and dropped him in the ocean that one time. I'm sure he's fine though.
Alright speculation time, hope there's still momentum left.
