Hello. It has come to our attention that you have been taking your Halo-based conflict with another user across multiple wikis. Frankly, it is starting to amount to harassment. It has already gotten you blocked on two wikis, and if it persists you will be blocked globally across Wikia. I would advise you to let bygones be bygones and ignore any user you might have a conflict with. Best,
If your curious to what this is all about, a guy on another wiki linked to a site that gave away pirated copies of Halo 4, an Xbox 360 video game. Om that wiki I tried asking for his username on the online gaming service, Xbox Live, so I could report him on there. It didn't work so I tried asking here. A microsoft employee told me that he'd get the FBI to investigate Wikia if he was unable to talk to the guy, so that's what the post on the girl's wall was all about.
But the dude at Microsoft was able to talk to the guy and everything was solved before it got far more serious.
Now look, the reason I came on here to try to find the guy's gamertag was because as of a few weeks ago I became an Xbox Live Moderator/Ambassador, meaning I was chosen to report people breaking Xbox Live Code of Conduct and/or screwing with Microsoft.
I didn't mean to come off in a bad way. If I just got his username on Xbox Live when I asked, none of this would've happened. Can you please delete the conversation on Yoko's wall since the entire situation has concluded?
I'm not really interested in the background, honestly. I'm glad to hear that the matter is settled and there won't be any more issues. As far as deleting the thread, that isn't appropriate in this case. It will be good to have it to refer to if there are further issues.
I just don't see how you can consider it as harassment when I was trying to deal with someone who did something illegal. Plus I was just doing my job. Look, it isn't like a picked a random individual and tried to piss him/her off for no reason. Put yourself in my shoes. Imagine you were given this job to do whatever it takes to stop people doing this kind of stuff. Now imagine if someone on a website was going to try to ban you for doing that job. Doesn't sound fair, does it?
I know that they can ban me across Wikia. No offense, but their banning system has flaws and I know a way to counter it, though it is a long process. If it's my job, I'm going to do it, but I'm definitely not going to go around and start crap for no reason.
Believe it or not, I never even wanted the situation to become so large and disruptive.
Mr Kid wrote: I decided I'm not going to "bug" this guy about it anymore. If he wants to try and ban me for such an unjustified reason, he can go right ahead. I'll find a way to come back.
And it's this that proves that you are not honest at all. If you really were just a guy doing his job, you wouldn't care less about what anyone said. The fact that you choose to continue to reply and make boasts about your connections and hacking skills suggests that you are either a fantasist, a troll or both.
I was just trying to get her to comply, that's all. I didn't want things to become disruptive, but if she blocks me from chat and the wiki where the situation started, there's only so much I can do.
Actually I don't really care what anyone says, I was just stating that if I got banned I can come back. Sometimes I'm bad with writing, causing people to misunderstand what I mean. That's why I guess I do poorly communicating on chat rooms but not on things like Skype or Xbox Live.
